Erudite, creative and in demand… all words which don’t begin to describe this writer. Ali got through an English language and literature degree at Manchester University without once studying Shakespeare. Seriously, she’s not even heard of him. Then she did a post-graduate diploma in print journalism and now she writes words at The Leeds Guide where she holds the post of ‘office fashionista’, as awarded at the last Christmas party (it’s nice to gain recognition after all those hours behind a desk).

She lives in Harrogate, North Yorkshire with a boyfriend, a house rabbit and a compelling sense of missing out on the gold-paved streets of London.
