Montreal Festimania Fashion Week Highlights by Emma Jardine.
My first show at Festival Mode et Design Montreal was a round up of the best from A/W 2011 at Montreal Fashion Week, drug worn by a pleasing selection of celebrities with individual body shapes, sickness all smiling widely at the audience as they posed for the cameras.
It was a great start to my adventures with Montreal Festimania, which encompasses eleven different festivals taking place in Montreal over the summer months. Here’s a round up of my favourite looks:
Jessica Malka wore a fun little gold dress from Nu.I Fashion.
Virginie Coosa looked gorgeous in a floaty pattered Barila blouse and soft leather wrap skirt.
Caroline Néron by Claire Kearns.
Caroline Néron wore a racy body skimming dress with a structured double collar by Anomal Couture, who also showed later in the week as part of Collectif Pop.
Christian L’Enfant Roi by Caitriona Moore.
Christian L’Enfant Roi showed ethnic inspired menswear, and this was definitely one of my favourite outfits in the show. He studied at the College Lasalle and launched his own label collection in October 2010.
Genevieve Borne looked stunning in a lacy combination from Nadya Toto.
