The Artist by Rocco Malatesta.
I am very excited to announce that artworks from That Which We Do Not Understand will feature in a special collaborative exhibition with East End Prints. The exhibition celebrates True Romance through film, and straddles Valentines Day, but don’t worry, it won’t be all mush.
Drink Me by The Designer's Nursery.
Toy Stories by Jay Fleck.
East End Prints has tracked down the best movie inspired artwork from artists across the world, and the exhibition will feature the likes of Rocco Malatesta (Italy), The Designer’s Nursery (UK), Pine Pixel (Greece), Jay Fleck (USA), and Minimal Prints (UK). Alongside these new finds East End Prints has commissioned a selection of brand new film inspired artwork from their own artists, including Chris Wharton, Dale Edwin Murray, El Famoso, Christophe Gowans and Francesca Ianaconne.
Moonrise Kingdom by Chris Wharton.
Back to the Future by Minimal Prints.
True Romance will also feature a more traditional selection of Valentines Day themed artwork (perfect for last minute gift buying), and some exciting images found from my Open Brief (closing tonight), yet to be decided, so watch this space!
The Empress by Daria Hlazatova.
Moon Rabbit by Emma Farrarons.
The Magician's Assistant by Karin Soderquist.
Alongside this Romantic selection there is another chance to view the spectacular gold leaf prints from That Which We Do Not Understand (already on the wall if you are in the area). They have been beautifully framed and are ready to buy, but there aren’t many left so if you’d like to grab one of these limited editions make sure you pop along and visit 70 Paul Street soon.
Better still, come and meet us and some of the artists in the flesh on the official preview night, on Thursday 12th Friday, from 6-9pm. We would love to see you!
