Climate Rush-Statues Sash

This is a petite unique local exhibition that commemorates the artistic work created by the suffragettes whilst campaigning for the vote. It explores the history of the suffragettes and how the movement inspired artists, writers and theatre-makers, as well as the involvement of local people in the suffrage movement. If you're in Richmond it's worth a little diversion to take a look at it in the quaint second floor museum of the town hall, but I wouldn't make a special trip to see it.

I was asked to contribute the above photo, which was taken during one of our first actions as Climate Rush in October 2008.
