Transition Towns 2008 conference

The Transition Town conference this year returns to a rural setting, and will be taking place between the 12th-14th of June, 2010 at the impressive ex-agricultural college in Seale Hayne, Devon. This annual shindig is intended mainly for those who are already embedded in the Transition Town process, but it's also an excellent chance for those intrigued about the movement to meet and get involved with others already working in their area, or to gain the confidence to set up their own Transition Town initiative.

The main aims of the conference will be to expand knowledge of how to catalyse local initiatives and build stronger networks with like-minded people. And as ever, there will be down time when there will be the opportunity to network informally and even take trips out into the beautiful surrounding countryside. These photos were taken at the 2008 conference, when we played football and spent lots of time outside in gorgeous weather.
