Maison Martin Margiela 20: The Exhibition
Somerset House celebrates two decades of the eponymous label
Thu 3rd June 2010, 10:00am – Sun 5th September 2010, 06:00pm
Somerset House, Strand, London, WC2R 1LA
Category: Fashion

In what is as closely guarded a secret as his eponymous label, Somerset House celebrates 20 years of Martin Margiela.
In what promises to be 'A major exhibition celebrating 20 years of one of contemporary fashion's most influential and enigmatic fashion houses', Somerset House once again opens its doors for fashion fans, in what will undoubtedly be the exhibition of the Summer.
The flyer is understated, in typical Maison Martin Margiela style, and the press release doesn't give much away either, but expect iconic pieces from two decades of fashion's most elusive designer. There'll also be a range of events, too - such as White Elephant, where you can take your unwanted white objects and customise them with the guidance of industry professionals.
I'll be at the exhibition as soon as it opens, so expect some kind of insight after 3rd June. Until then, get excited!
