400 Women is an exhibition of new work by 200 artists in response to the murders of more than 400 women over a decade in Ciudad JuaƔrez, Mexico.
Each of the 200 artists have painted one of the murdered women to confront the issue and remember the victims.
The project is in collaboration with Amnesty International and was conceived by artist Tamsyn Challenger. Tracey Emin and Maggi Hambling are amongst the wealth of artists, both male and female, who have lent their talents to this groundbreaking project. Challenger, with the help of Amnesty International, sourced 100 images of murdered women – but in many cases no images are available and artists have created works using only names.

Closed Mondays.
