Stitch Hacking
Stitch Hacking is a new textile technique recently developed by Amy Twigger Holroyd which involves the laddering and reconfiguration of stitches within existing knitted fabrics. This versatile technique allows you to retrospectively create integral knit/purl designs on plain stocking stitch fabric, and many other unconventional effects. Why not hop along to Prick Your Finger, either to marvel at or learn the skill. You’ll never look at a plain jumper in the same way again!

The private view for the exhibition is on Friday 7th October from 6-9pm.

The workshops are being held on Saturday 8th October. Workshop One will be two hours long and costs £35.00, from 12-2pm. Workshop Two will be a be a continuation from the first session for those that want to go more indepth and costs £60, from 12-4.30 pm. Drop Prick Your Finger an email to book your place.

Plain and unfortunately characterless knitwear will be provided for hacking, and you are encouraged to bring your own garments too. All materials and tea and coffee provided.
