There will be a vast array of independently designed jewellery, clothing, paper goods, home + garden goods, posters, artwork, plush objects, ceramics, bath + body products, and so much more!!
Best of all it's FREE to attend. Find out more on the Renegade Craft Fair website. Here's a taster of what you can expect to find:
London’s cornerstone of contemporary crafting since 2007, The Make Lounge, will set up an outpost of their popular craft venue at the Fair, and offer a slew of Autumnal-themed workshops for attendees to enjoy during the weekend. Information on their upcoming calendar of workshops at their two locations will also be available at their booth.
The Pink Pom-Pom Project will be on hand hosting a stitch & bitch for knitters, crocheters, and novices alike, while recruiting crafters for their cause. Attendees are encouraged to make a hat, or other comfort accessory, on-site, or take home a pattern for a future donation, which benefits the breast cancer survivors at The Haven and the Macmillan Cancer Support Center. Sewing and knitting kits will also be available for purchase.
The Stitch and Make Studio will join us at the Fair, bringing their talented sewing skills in tow. Attendees can enjoy make + take stitched projects -including Japanese inspired corsages, and pencil mustaches – purchase crafting kits, browse Abi Jackson’s line of one-off clothing pieces, and find information on workshops offered at their Northampton location.
Inspired by a belief that the excitement of looking for the perfect gift extends to how it will be wrapped, the Gift Wrap HQ will be on hand giving attendees the opportunity to creatively wrap their Fair finds. Donations from participants will be donated to British Red Cross’ Japan Tsunami Appeal to encourage a community of gift giving that gives back.
Craft Central, London’s premiere not-for-profit dedicated to building a strong future for craft & design, will be on hand providing information on their resources and studio spaces, and helping attendees create handmade rosettes using recycled felt scraps collected from their community of designers.
Attendees fishing for unique wall art can try their hand at Gyotaku – the art of Japanese fish printing courtesy of cheese + pickles studio. Participants will learn the basics of mono printing, using a dried fish instead of a lino block, and take home a unique creation. Original art and prints will also be on hand for purchase.
Selvedge Magazine will be on-hand selling issues of their magazine while giving attendees the chance to win a free subscription.
