Dale Chilhuly Mille Fiori

The inaugural exhibition in the Halcyon Gallery’s newest London space, Chihuly comprises 57 contemporary glass sculptures from the celebrated artist, spread across three levels. It’s an apt time, with 50 years having passed since the international studio glass movement first began, in which Chihuly was instrumental. These joyous works, bright and often large scale, are also the perfect antidote to a chilly January.

Site-specific works include the Mille Fiori – a 24-foot garden of glass, and the two-storey Gold and Quartz Two Tier Chandelier. Another highlight a few minutes’ walk away is Chihuly’s recently-unveiled Torchlight Chandelier, a magnificent chandelier sculpture which is illuminated nightly in Park Lane.

The Gallery’s opening hours are 10am – 6pm and admission is free. For further details please visit www.halcyongallery.com.
