Super brands have died out, and independent stores thrive. Tesco and Starbucks have been taken over by small businesses offering the same things; a family butchers, greengrocers, Rosie's florist and Amelia's bakery! Some cars do still exist but they are run on chip fat – recycled from the local fish and chip shop. The van is taking TVs away to be recycled as people have finally got a life and don't need to be entertained by a box; instead the kids play happily in the street and use a basic telephone in the form of two cups and a piece of string! Of course, all houses are now adapted to make the most of solar and wind energy. And shopping baskets and trolleys have replaced the evil plastic bag... |
