My vision of a positive future doesn't suggest that all the global scares we are bombarded with aren't true, but that mankind is resilient. The world we know has been consigned to the annals of time. We have stepped into a new dawn where our world has been through its natural cycle to cleanse itself. With the illustrations vague references to Noah’s ark, in the future we save ourselves by adapting to our changing environments. Darwin’s theory of natural selection talks of advantageous traits becoming more predominant through future generations as a means of survival. So, with the onslaught of melting polar icecaps and rising tides I envision humans taking to the sea. We get gills and webbed fingers for efficiency in water, whilst still being able to survive on land. The drawing is about animals and humans co-existing, doing what they need to, to survive.
