Zeynep Tosun A/W 2014 by Faye West.
Zeynep Tosun was the only show that I went to on Monday, impressed as I have been by her two previous seasons on the Fashion Scout catwalk. This season she opted for a more obviously commercial and less embellished look that will no doubt go down well with a European market. Still present and correct in this Oxidised collection were the lush fabric combinations in autumnal colour ways, mixing deep caramels, burnt orange and deep brown with crisp cream and baby blue. Layered beanie hats with gigantic pompoms brought a dash of urbanism to this otherwise slickly tailored sportsluxe collection, featuring many beautifully cut 70s inspired leather gilets, jackets and coats with zips, buckles and flared detailing. The rusty ‘oxidised’ print used on a simple high collared dress and hooded bomber jacket was a particular highlight.
