Vielma SS15 by Alison Day.
The audience piled into the pyramid shaped atrium at ME London Hotel for the catwalk show from Chile born Gabriel Vielma, who has up to now led an eclectic global design career that includes learning millinery in France. These hat making skills were put to good use, with the sumptuous ruby red, cream and metallic silk dresses accessorised with a wonderful array of headwear shadowing the moody make up. Tight fitting and sheer shirting on the upper body was juxtaposed with bouncy asymmetric skater skirts, soft leather shorts and a jaunty stride. This was a small but stunning collection of garments from a name to watch.
