It was only a matter of time before somebody hosted an exhibition dedicated to everybody's favourite iPhone photography app.

The Orange Dot Gallery, this month, presents an exhibition devoted to Hipstamatic - an iPhone app that turns your below-par camera phone into an analogue wonder, with a range of different 'lenses' and 'films' to create various vintage-inspired images.

There really is nothing like it as proven by its 'App of the Year' acolade awarded by Apple in 2010, and this unique exhibition showcases the fruits of the Hipstamatic blog - bringing together images from all over the world from would-be photographers who've brandished the app everywhere they've been.

The exhibition presents 157 of the best from the Hipstamatics website (I'm cursing myself for not submitting any). 157, coincidently, is the number of original analogue Hipstamatic cameras that were produced.

Don't miss the first ever exhibition to showcase this phenomenon - photography will never be the same again.
