Make Lemonade founder Emete is taking her vintage goods onto the high street starting Tuesday 19th January. In addition to selling an exclusive customised range of vintage clothes and jewellery, designed by Holly-ann Ladd, from Saturday 22nd visitors can enjoy special events such as screen printing, music nights and other goodies.
Amelia’s Magazine met with Emete last summer – read Matt Bramford’s interview here. The pop-up shop will feature new designs from the pair’s S/S collection, plus exclusive items only available in-store. There will also be contributions from Hato Press, the environmentally friendly printers and publishers, textile printers Temitope and knitted accessories designer Louise Dungate, among others. The shop, just off Euston Road, will also have an inspiration wall designed by Supermarket Sarah – in other words lots of goodies to get a jump-start on spring.
Find the Make Lemonade shop on 24 Chalton Street, London NW1 1JH between 19th January and 1 February. Shop hours are Monday to Saturday between10 am and 6pm, with promises of intriguing-sounding ‘happening intervals’ later at night. See their Facebook page for more event information.
